1 Day Vientiane – Nam Ngum (Ban Thaheua) with 2-hour lunch cruise
8:00AM Morning pick up at your hotel in Vientiane, drive north to Nam Ngum Dam. We arrive at Nam Ngum Reservoir around 10:30M.
11:00AM Embark on our sala boat at Sanctuary Nam Ngum pier. Enjoy a delightful cruise through the islands, observing life along the banks. Explore the various local fishing techniques and rice production in this enchanting part of Laos.
Noon: Relish a delicious Lao set menu lunch served on board.
1 pm: Navigate back towards Tha Heua Village and envision the traditional dried fish preservation method while weaving through the islands.
1:30 pm: Arrive at Sanctuary Nam Ngum Beach Holiday Village Resort.
On the way back to Vientiane, visit a traditional salt abstraction site at Ban Khok Saath and continue to a local market where local people gather to sale wild animals and large selection of insects. Back at your hotel in Vientiane in the late afternoon.
