Here, your guide will describes the significance of this remote site and its statues that have remained largely undisturbed despite repeated visitors.
Get back on the boat and continue our journey to observe life along the lush river. Disembark at Ban Xang Khong, where local villagers make delicate paper from mulberry leaves and weave prized Lao textiles on ancient wooden looms. You also pay visit to Ban Xang Hai village where Lao-Lao rice whisky is bottled, sometimes with a snake or scorpion. Try a swig of this potent drink if you dare!
